Writing can feel lonely — but it doesn’t have to be. Join a writing group, online or in person. Share your work. Give feedback. Learn from others. Having a support system can keep you motivated when self-doubt creeps in (and it will, trust me). First drafts are supposed to be messy. They’re not books — they’re the beginning of books. The goal of a first draft is not to be brilliant, but to exist. Once it’s written, then you can edit, polish, and improve.
